The ghosts and ghouls are coming out in full force at Food101 this October.

BeginningOctober 15 the restaurant will be in “the spirit” of the season, complete withspooky decorations, witches brew cocktails and of course a special eerilydelicious menu. 

Just prior tothe 15, a decorating phantom will visit the restaurant and envelope it in bone stirringHalloween decorations, to kick off the high-spirited fun. 

ExecutiveChef Justin Keith will craft a four course wine pairing menu that will beserved in the ghoulishly decorate private dining room on both Tuesday, October23 and 30 at 6:30pm. The seasonally inspired menu will feature an Arugula Salad with poachedpears, dried cranberries,  goat cheeseand a maple pecan vinaigrette (served with Blackstock Vineyards ReserveViognier), Pumpkin Bisque with toasted pumpkin seeds, crème fraiche (servedwith Wolf Mountain Winery Instinct), Braised Beef Short Ribs with Anson Millsfaro, butternut squash, kale and red wine jus (accompanied by Wolf MountainWinery Claret) and Apple Fritters with apple cider and caramel (served withWolf Mountain Winery Blanc de Blanc). The cost for this spooky good dinner is $50 per person (plus taxand gratuity).

OnHalloween night, guests are invited to don their favorite costume at an aweinspiring Costume Contest that will take place in Food 101’s spirited bar. Gift Certificates will be given to the mostcreative costume, scariest costume and the grand prize of all around bestcostume will win a $100 gift certificate to Food 101. 

Guests of allages are also invited to enter their carved Jack O ’Lanterns in Food 101’s Funfor All Contest.  A cauldron full ofprizes will be awarded to every age group and the winning Jack O’ Lanterns willbe displayed on Food 101’s outdoor patio.
