Seven Days of Tastings, Tap Takeovers, Pub Crawls & Brewer Meet n' GreetsSaturday, October 20 through Saturday, October 27, 2012
The 3rd annual Atlanta Beer Week presented by Savannah Distributing Company will host citywide beer events Saturday, October 20 through Saturday, October 27, 2012. Atlanta Beer Week will showcase local beers and breweries, beer bars, craft beer stores and restaurants along with craft beers and breweries from across the United States and international imports.
“Atlanta is the fastest growing, major craft beer market in the United States. By the end of 2012, more the 15 breweries from across the United States will have launched in the Atlanta market,” says Atlanta Beer Week founder Reid Ramsay. “Compound that with a population of 6 million people in the Atlanta area getting turned onto craft beer everyday, puts us truly in the age of ‘beer enlightenment’ here in the South.”
Kicking off with the Decatur Craft Beer Festival on Saturday, October 20th, Atlanta Beer Week is encouraging everyone from beer enthusiasts to the beer curious to explore Atlanta neighborhoods and their brew offerings throughout the week. Details about specific events and locations are available on Atlanta Beer Week’s website at http://www.atlantabeerweek.com/.
