In March, The St. Regis Atlanta announced that Chef Joseph Trevino would serve as the new executive chef, supervising culinary operations throughout the hotel and its two on-site restaurants, Paces 88 American Bistro and Astor Court.

Chef Trevino brings over 15 years fine dining experience at high-caliber properties located throughout the country. Most recently, he helmed the kitchen at The Westin Charlotte, a AAA Four Diamond Hotel. His career also includes stints at Loews Ventana Canyon Resort in Tucson, Preston’s at Loews Miami Beach, Dux at The Peabody Hotel in Orlando, and The Canyons Resort in Park City.

"I’m honored to become part of team which delivers such an incomparable dining experience," said Trevino in a press release. "As Executive Chef, I am thrilled to be given the opportunity to translate my passion for gastronomy in an environment like The St. Regis Atlanta, a hotel that attracts clientele with such discerning palates."

Coinciding with his arrival, the second floor space of The St. Regis Atlanta --which houses Astor Court -- has been redecorated. The carpeting keeps the former cream and blue color scheme, but new furniture adds pops of orange. New potted plants help cozy-up the space.

Power Juice ($8) with cucumber, celery, apple, ginger and lemon. Muesli ($16). Both tasty. (Note that sample portions are smaller than standard full-serving size.):
Bagel and smoked salmon--the fanciest presentation ever:
Steak eggs Benedict. A personal favorite:

Bottom Line: Elegant breakfast option, especially recommended for a business meeting over breakfast.
